Nestled on top of Picadilly Hill, The Range is positioned with rolling views over the hinterland to the sea. The 120 acre property also features a macadamia orchard, expansive lawns, water ways, amphitheatre style fire pit and an extensive outdoor pool and dining areas.
Extensive Pool area
With expansive timber decks and a covered alfresco dining area, this space is a destination for relaxation and entertainment, where guests can spend a lazy afternoon cooking pizzas in the wood fired oven. A shaded lounge area provides comfort from the midday sun and luxurious sun beds invite guests to relax and soak up the hinterland landscape or enjoy a swim in the 15 metre mineral pool and spa.
The homestead has two outdoor dining areas to suit all weather conditions. The 5m table is made from 200 year old teak that was felled over a century ago and repurposed by a wonderful local artisan. This table accommodates up to 20 guests outside the main living area and the poolside alfresco dining provides a relaxed setting for 10 to 12.
Built from rocks discovered in the remnant rainforest on The Range, the grand fire pit works like an amphitheatre, overlooking the rolling hills. The built in seating encourages conversation and fireside tales, with several cooking options as an outdoor grill.
There is nothing better than being surrounded by lush green lawn. The Range homestead sits on acres of manicured grass areas for you to enjoy.
With 4,500 macadamia trees across its 120 acres, The Range is home to manicured rows of these majestic native trees. Admiring them from a distance or walking among the rows beneath the canopy is a magical experience and a retreat from the sun on warm days.
River sand dam
A large, spring fed dam sits on the property adjacent to one of our five rainforests. Brimming with wildlife, and home to perch and bass, this area provides another space to relax and enjoy nature. Bring a picnic and cast a line out to see what you can catch.
